The term quality motivation can refer generally to the selection and motivation of teams, or more specifically to group self-assessment in the theory and practice of continual improvement. In recent years most corporations, large and small, have initiated Total Quality Management (TQM) programs with goals that include 100% satisfaction for customers and no product/service defects.
